Sam and David are officially married!!! I feel like we waited forever for their big day! We met them at their engagement session earlier this year and just fell in love with them! They’re so much fun to be around and sweet Samantha has just become a dear friend over the past several months. So it’s no surprise that their wedding day was a ton of fun!! We loved getting to spend the day with them! Even though it was insanely hot! Now, I know you’re thinking, “It’s Summer, Sheree. All your weddings are going to be hot.” And yes, yes they are. But this wedding in particular, shew! I don’t know if it’s because there was no breeze or because I was standing in the sun most of the time or what, but this is probably the hottest wedding we’ve photographed. But man was it worth it!
Sam and David, their wedding party, their family – they were all gorgeous, super easy to photograph, and just so wonderful to be around. We loved their venue, The Peyton. It had plenty of room for everyone and their ceremony and reception was set up indoors (hello air conditioning). We just loved getting to spend the day with them! They chose awesome vendors too! I love, love, love getting to work with other vendors who are excited and passionate about their jobs and you can tell Sam and David’s vendors definitely were! They did such a great job and served Sam and David well and Usbec and I hope to work with them all again in the future!
Sam stayed in touch with me all the way up to her wedding day sending me photos and asking my opinion on lots of things and I LOVED seeing how it all came together! She also chose the songs for their reception and let me tell you, she chose the BEST ones! I wish you all could have been there! Even I wanted to get out and dance on the dance floor. And my family can attest – I have no dance moves!
Samantha and David, thank you SO MUCH for choosing us to be your photographers!! We loved getting to spend the day with you and can’t wait for your anniversary session!!!! 🙂
Sam got ready at Bluff View Inn Martin House and it was gorgeous!! We loved the natural light coming in and the beautiful spots to do detail shots!
Flowers by Tami did the florals for the wedding and they turned out so gorgeous!
I just love a sweet first look!
Could she be any more gorgeous??
The Peyton made a beautiful location for their wedding! And Kristen did a fantastic job directing it!
David’s Mom sang a beautiful song for them at the start of their reception. I loved hearing her sing and seeing David and Sam’s sweet reactions.
One of my favorite parts of a wedding day, the Sunset Portraits! And the light did not disappoint! Since they did a first look we had plenty of time to sneak away and get some photos of them as HUSBAND AND WIFE!!! How beautiful is this glowy light??
Congratulations Sam and David!!!
