2018 is over! The holidays are over and I love the fact that I have a little bit of time to rest and relax! But I can’t relax too much because I have lots of catching up to do on the blog!! For today, I’m sharing Meredith’s Bridal Session at Church Street United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN.
I have been dying to photograph here ever since we moved to Knoxville several years ago! So, when it was supposed to rain on the day we had Meredith’s bridal session scheduled, I was scrambling to find an indoor location. Even though I hadn’t met her at this point, I had a huge feeling Meredith would love everything about this church! Turns out, she and Caleb got engaged at a similar spot so Church Street United Methodist was PERFECT! I called them to see if we were even allowed to photograph there and they were so kind! They graciously allowed us to come and gave Usbec and I a tour of all the spots we could use before Meredith arrived.
When Meredith showed up, we explained that we’d start in the sanctuary and then we’d head outdoors to a covered area for some natural light photos. She was all for it!! I LOVE when our brides will do what needs to be done for the shot!! If she had only wanted to stay inside for her portraits, we would have made the most of it, but just wait until you see the outdoor photos!! So WORTH IT! They’re some of our favorite bridal portraits ever!! Meredith, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you made a stunning, stunning bride!! (And Bangs and Blush did an AMAZING job with hair and make up!) Usbec and I were honored to get got photograph you! Check back soon for their mini engagement session also at Church Street United Methodist!!
In the following 2 photos, Usbec photographed the right while I photographed the left! I love getting to work with him so often!
