That’s me at 33 weeks pregnant! I’m now 37.5 weeks! Man, this year is FLYING by! We have finished shooting all our 2017 weddings! It was a great year with the most amazing couples ever! We are so thankful we get to work with kind, beautiful couples. It never ceases to amaze me how thoughtful and sweet all of our couples are. We are so thankful for each and every one of you – not just our 2017 couples!

We’ve edited and delivered all our weddings and now we’re working on blog posts, updating a few things for the 2018 season and meeting with new couples for 2018! We’ve already met with a few couples for next year and we’re so excited to shoot their weddings! 2018 is going to be a great year! We are still booking for 2018 so if you’re interested in having us photograph your wedding send us an email! We’d LOVE to meet with you!

Outside of our business hours we’re getting ready for Baby Frausto to make his debut!! Less than 3 WEEKS left!! This pregnancy has flown by!! I remember when we first found out we were going to have a baby, I thought September was so far away but it’s here already! I can’t believe it! The past 8 months have been so much fun though. I’m truly enjoying this season of our lives and I can’t wait for baby boy to be here!

In the past month we’ve had 2 baby showers, gotten the car seat installed, gotten almost all the necessities, and are pretty much finished with the nursery! I promise there will be a blog post soon with his nursery but it won’t be until after he’s born! We’re keeping the name a secret and his name is in big letters over his crib. So that blog post will have to wait until he’s arrived! 🙂 Now we just need to finish last minute details in the nursery, get a few more things washed, get a few more freezer meals prepared….the list goes on and on. But all the important things are pretty much finished! We’re so excited!!!!

So, back to our baby showers … My mom and sister threw a baby shower for us in Johnson City and it was the best day ever. Everything looked so perfect! They had decorated in a nautical theme since that’s the theme of the nursery. And we had so many friends and family show up! We cannot thank you all enough! We’re overwhelmed with how loved Baby Frausto is already! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who made our first baby shower so special! Especially thanks to Mom, Selinda, and Dad!! And a HUGE thank you to my Aunt Sally, Aunt Becky, Aunt Tonya, my cousin Amber, and Meme for helping set up, prepare food, and for all your hard work. You ladies are the best and we love you all!!nautical themed baby shower (4)

Just a few days after that baby shower, the wonderful people at Gondolier threw us a shower too. Angela and Katie had been preparing for this shower for MONTHS! And they did such a beautiful job with it! We thank you ladies and everyone else who pitched in and were there to celebrate with us from the bottom of our hearts! We’re so thankful for you! These were a few pics I snapped with my phone. And I’d LOVE to have more of that punch right about now! 🙂Nautical Themed Baby Shower

The next 3 weeks may fly by like the past 8 months have or it may completely slow down and be the slowest time ever. But either way here’s few interesting facts about my pregnancy so far :

Things I’ve been loving : Leggings and Dresses – I seriously lived in the same outfit for about a month until it got too hot for the leggings, now I’ve been working shorts and maternity shirts until I get home when I then LIVE in Usbec’s gym pants. They’re amazing!

Not having to carry a single bag on a wedding day! Thanks Usbec for making me take it as easy as possible on wedding days.

Feeling baby boy hiccup and move. It’s the best thing ever! And it doesn’t matter if he kicks all day long – I love when Usbec comes home and gets to feel him move too. The way Usbec’s face lights up is the sweetest thing. He’s going to be the best dad ever, ya’ll.

Anything baby related! I love it all – baby shopping, fixing the nursery up, reading baby and family magazines I get in the mail, getting pedicures from my mom since I can’t bend over and do it myself anymore, even the doctor’s appointments get me excited! I just love this season of life!

Things I don’t love so much : Going to the bathroom multiple times every night and knowing that it’s keeping Usbec from getting a good night’s rest. And having to rush to the bathroom multiple times per day… or hour!

Heartburn – I haven’t had it too bad but when it does show it’s ugly face it’s no fun!

Not being able to sleep. I’ve never been one to wake up in the middle of the night but for the past couple weeks I wake up and feel like I’m just waiting for morning to get here already so I can go ahead and get up! Let’s be honest though – the naps in the middle of the day because of this are pretty nice!

Symptoms : Nesting has fully kicked in! I started by cleaning and organizing 3 of our closets in one day. I’m slowly cleaning out and organizing other parts of the house as well. For some reason all the usual housework has been a little forgotten but I do have days where all I want to do is clean!

Cravings – It started with Taco Bell Crunchwraps, then BBQ with coleslaw, and then Poptarts.

Aches and Pains – Usbec hasn’t stopped making fun of the way I’ve walked for the past 2 weeks. I thought I had pulled a muscle while cleaning one day, but now that it hasn’t gone away in 2 weeks, I’ve realized baby boy must be sitting on a nerve or something. It’s fun!

Other than that, I’ve honestly loved every moment of being pregnant! I’m so thankful for this season of life!
