Jordan and Andrew’s Allandale wedding in Kingsport, TN was a dream to shoot! As many of you know Allandale is where Usbec and I got married almost 3 years ago! It’s such a beautiful place. There’s so many spots for photos, the inside of the mansion has tons of natural light. It’s one of my favorite venues by far! And not just because that’s where we got married but also because it’s just so beautiful!
Usbec and I met Jordan and Andrew back before Christmas and I knew the second we met that we were going to love working with them. They’re so sweet, absolutely adorable together, and one of the kindest couples we’ve ever worked with. They gave us a card on their wedding day and I didn’t read it until I got home, but ya’ll it made it me cry! It was so sweet and thoughtful and I’m so, so grateful for such kind couples like Jordan and Andrew.
Jordan and I have emailed almost every day for the past couple months and she’s become a sweet friend. I love that so many of my brides end up that way! Jordan and Andrew’s wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful either. We watched the weather every day and cringed a little when we realized there was a chance for snow! But it ended up being perfect. It was on the chilly side that day but they were champs braving the cold to get those gorgeous outdoor photos!
They had an intimate wedding with only their closest friends and family. Part of Andrew’s family is originally from Scotland and so Andrew wore a kilt for the wedding, just like his dad did at his wedding! One of my favorite things about Andrew and Jordan is that they love touring historic homes together. It’s one of the reasons they chose Allandale as their wedding venue. I appreciate that about them because Usbec and I love, love, love to go to Biltmore! We even had season passes a couple years ago and I keep hoping one of these years we’ll get them again. 🙂
Congratulations Jordan and Andrew!! You guys have been such a pleasure to work with and we wish you many, many years of joy together!
I love when there’s a full invitation suite!! It adds so much to the detail photos and gives extra variety!
The natural light inside of Allandale is so beautiful. It’s hands down my favorite Bridal Suite I’ve ever shot in! The walls are white and clean, there’s plenty of window light, it’s so roomy, and it’s feminine and beautiful!
I love when the groom’s have detail photos to shoot too!
Usbec shoots the groom’s getting ready photos on his own pretty often now. I love the detail and attention he gives in getting these creative shots!
Time for the first look! One of our favorite parts of the day and the best way to ensure you get the most out of your time spent at your venue!
I never knew having Usbec as part of the MSP Team would be so beneficial. But look at all these angles we’re able to get on a wedding day!
Allandale, we love you for all your beautiful locations!
Because the weather was cooler than they originally thought, Jordan and Andrew decided to move their ceremony indoors. It was perfect for their intimate wedding especially since there’s lots of window light in this room too!
Jordan and Andrew had a bagpiper for their ceremony and it was awesome!!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Murdoch!!
