Ya’ll, I love this session I’m sharing with you today!!!!! This is my cousin, Amber, and her husband, Jonathan. My family and I travelled to Chattanooga last weekend and while we were there we went up to Point Park on Lookout Mountain to take some photos for their 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Not only did Torin go with us for this trip, but my parents went as well and we had a great day taking photos and getting to spend time with family. I’m thinking we need to make more trips to Chattanooga more often!
Point Park was really beautiful! Usbec and I had never been there, but you can see the entire city from up there. We started our session there and then ended at Heritage Park where Amber and Jonathan had their wedding reception. There were so many people there! I couldn’t believe how crowded it was, but we still got beautiful photos!
I have to brag on Usbec for a minute. We don’t often do sessions in the middle of the day when the trees haven’t bloomed yet. For those of you who don’t know why that is different, at a sunset session, the light is a lot softer and not as harsh as it is midday. Plus, when the trees have bloomed, they can act as a diffuser. So even if you’re shooting in the middle of the day with harsh sunlight, the trees can diffuse some of that. So, we were working in different circumstances than normal and Usbec still knocked this session out of the park! His photos were some of the best ever and I just wanted to say how proud I am of him with how far he’s come! He’s only been shooting with me for a year or so but he’s so very talented at this!
Amber and Jonathan hadn’t had professional photos made since their wedding day, so this session was extra special. They both did so great and were naturals! If you’ve had a session with me you know that I ALWAYS teach the groom the nuzzle. Well, Jonathan did so good that I had to mention it in the blog post. 😉 Usbec and I loved doing this session and I’m so excited to share these images with ya’ll!
Happy Anniversary Amber and Jonathan!
