Meredith and Caleb had the most beautiful wedding at The Magnolia in Pigeon Forge, TN. We’ve now photographed 3 weddings there and each one has been totally different! Meredith and Caleb did a first look in the middle of the day and I LOVED the lighting during that time of the day. Everything was bright and crisp and so classy looking. Then their ceremony happened at the PERFECT time during sunset and we still managed to have a 5 minute sunset session while their guests were eating dinner. It was the perfect day.
I first “met” Meredith and Caleb over the phone several months ago and I instantly fell in love with them. I remember getting off the phone and telling Usbec they are the perfect couple and I just couldn’t wait to actually meet them!! At the end of September, we FINALLY got to! We had scheduled Meredith’s bridal session for the day she had her hair and makeup trial in Knoxville and, wouldn’t you know, it ended up pouring the rain! I was frantically trying to find a location for the session where we could photograph indoors if we needed to when I remembered Church Street First United Methodist Church. I told Meredith about it and she said it was absolutely perfect because she loved the architecture, she had gotten engaged in an older church, and it was exactly what she was envisioning for her session. So, stay tuned, because that session is coming to the blog soon! We had so much fun at her bridal session and it made me even MORE excited for their wedding day!
Everything about their big day was perfect! The details were a dream to photograph, Meredith looked like a model, and just wait until you see Caleb’s reaction during the first look! These two are just a beautiful example of what the Lord meant for marriage to look like and it was no surprise to me after we met their families. They instantly made us feel like we were family too. They were welcoming and loving and just wonderful people! We loved getting to spend the day with all of them!!
Congratulations Meredith and Caleb!! We’re so excited for you two!!
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE beautiful wedding stationary!? I love it even more when Brides include it in their bag of bridal details for me to photograph!
All the heart eyes for this ring set! So gorgeous!
Of all the times I’ve photographed in the Bridal suite at The Magnolia, this is my favorite so far!! The early day, bright sunlight just made the whole room glow!
Meredith did a first look with her dad and her groom!
Meredith – you are one stunning bride!
So, quick story – Caleb thought Meredith’s dress would be simple. Not much beading, a little more fitted, and not a long train at all. You’ll see he was pleasantly surprised!
Oh my gosh! I love his face in these photos!!
Meredith and Caleb gave us a full 45 minutes for bride and groom photos so we were so excited to have time to photograph in several different areas!!
I love the green in these photos!!
They had a time of prayer just the 2 of them before the ceremony!
Meredith also had a time of prayer with her girls before the ceremony and this is one of my favorite shots from the day!
The sun may have been bright and crisp earlier in the day, but I love how it softened up and got all glow-y during the ceremony!
They had a scripture reading during their ceremony and I honestly think every photo we got of that part, Caleb is staring at Meredith like this and it’s the sweetest thing!
They were married on a Sunday and had a time of worship during their ceremony. So beautiful!
We loved their rose petal toss exit!!
AND holy moly! Can ya’ll believe we grabbed these photos in about 5 minutes during dinner??? The planner came up to me and asked if we wanted some or if it was too late. I saw the sun setting right behind where Usbec and I were eating and said yes, let’s do it!! We literally have only about 5 minutes before it gets too low though! I loved that Caleb and Meredith were game for this and helped make it happen! #soworthit
