PHOTOGRAPHY
Brittany and Gordon are one of my favorite couples! I shot their engagement session last year and they were the sweetest couple to work with. So, I was very excited for their wedding day to finally come! They got married at Cooper’s Cove at Heritage Park and I had never shot here before. But ya’ll, it’s one of those venues I think I could shoot at every weekend! They have several different ceremony sites, a gorgeous bridal suite, and a covered reception area! It’s the ideal place to get married!
As usual, when Usbec and I arrived we began with the detail shots. Oh how my heart loves detail shots and Brittany and Gordon’s details were some I could have photographed all day long! Those ranunculus boutonnieres might be my favorite ever. And their invitations fit perfectly with their wedding day and made the perfect background for the jewelry shots!!
Brittany and Gordon’s day flowed so smoothly too. This was another wedding where they were calling for rain but it never did! We had perfect overcast light for most of the morning though! Brittany and Gordon’s wedding was our second wedding that weekend. As most of you know, I’m pregnant with our first baby! And so I was a little worried about shooting two 8 hour wedding days in a row. However, I cannot say enough about the staff at Cooper’s Cove and Brittany’s wedding planner Rebecca. Ya’ll they checked on me all day long, making sure we had enough water, making sure we had food and just checking to see if we needed anything at all. I cannot tell you how awesome that is as a photographer. Wedding days are long even when you aren’t pregnant! But because of their kindness and thoughtfulness I made it through 2 wedding days in the hot sun AND got the most beautiful images ever!! When you’re working with such a great wedding team, I feel the photos reflect that and I’m so thankful for each of the vendors at this wedding. They made the day so fun and enjoyable and this wedding couldn’t have been any prettier!
Brittany and Gordon had the best group of friends standing next to them too and you can see in the photos below how happy all of their wedding party was for them! Usbec and I enjoyed meeting each of them so much! Brittany and Gordon – you guys are one lucky couple to have such a loving support system! Usbec and I can’t tell you how much fun we had on your wedding day and we’re so thankful we got to be a part of it!! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together and pray you’re always as joyful as you were on your wedding day!!
Brittany had a first look with her girls and it was the sweetest thing ever! The girls teared up a bit and I won’t lie – it made me a little teary eyed too. 🙂
Oh these girls were just the sweetest!!
Brittany’s dress was so fun! So of course we had to get some shots of her twirling in it! Brittany you were gorgeous!
Yep, Gordon I think you had everyone crying along with you! This was the sweetest moment of the entire day!
I LOVED THEIR EXIT!!!! They opted to have a confetti exit right after the ceremony instead of something at the end of the reception and I am 100% a fan of this! Just look how fun these images are!
This bridal party knew how to bring it! They all were so excited for their friends and it shows in every photo!
Brittany and Gordon we love you guys!!
I HIGHLY recommend every vendor on this list!! A huge thanks to each of you for helping make their day such a joyous occasion!
