I LOVE this sweet family!! Pamela and Burke are one of our past brides. They lived in California when they were planning their Tennessee wedding, but a few months after their wedding they moved literally 5 minutes down the road from us in Knoxville! Pamela didn’t know anyone in the area (some of her family lived about an hour or so away though) and so she reached out to me to see if we could hang out! We met up for coffee one morning and decided to start walking together shortly after that. Pamela has this super outgoing personality that’s just so much fun and we quickly became great friends!! The Lord knew I needed her during that time in our lives because Usbec and I were trying to start a family and things weren’t going as easily or quickly as we had hoped. It turned out Pamela and Burke had a very similar story and so we’d walk and talk about how we just desired to have children so badly and we helped keep each other positive about it.

Pamela became pregnant and I was so excited when she shared the news with me. I don’t think I had ever been more excited for someone at that point. 2 months later, I finally got to share with her that I was expecting too and so our walks and talks then became about how excited we were!! Burke had a job change shortly after that and they had to tell us they were moving again, this time, to Washington state. I was so sad! Excited for them, but sad! We had one last dinner all together before they moved and I don’t know about Pamela, but I had a few tears on the way back home that night!

Fast forward to now and we get to see them when they come back into town. I’m so thankful her family lives close to us so that we get to see them every now and then!! We still stay in touch and send photos of our babies to each other. I’m so thankful for her friendship. We don’t talk extremely often, but we both know the other’s there if we ever need anything and when we do talk or get to see each other in person, we pick up right where we left off! I’m secretly praying they get to move closer to us soon! 🙂 It was so much fun to get Torin and Daphne together for a little bit, even if they weren’t super interested in each other yet! haha!

I just love Pamela’s entire family. We had the best time getting to spend a couple hours with them and going to lunch together. It was such a great time and I can’t wait to do it again!!
